Josh Peck Jokes Studio Was 'Delulu' for Thinking He Could Pass as Chris Hemsworth's Brother in 2012'sRed Dawn

Josh Peckcan’t see the family resemblance between himself and hisRed DawncostarChris Hemsworth.

On Thursday, Nov. 7, Peck shared a throwback ThursdayInstagramphoto from the 2012 film, a remake of the 1984 cult classic, in which he played Matt Eckert, Hemsworth’s onscreen brother.

In the caption, Peck wrote: “#tbtto when a major studio believed@chrishemsworthand I could play brothers. Stay delulu y’all.”

Fans in the comment section played along with the joke, saying they could see the resemblance of the two stars, while others reminisced on the movie.

“I was invested, I saw the vision 😂 such a great movie!!!!” one fan wrote. “If you squint hard enough you can see what they saw 😍,” another joked.

The “major studio” Peck refers to in the post is MGM/UA Entertainment Company, which also released the originalRed Dawn.Due to MGM’s financial troubles at the time, the movie was sold to another distributor and finally released two years after it was made.

The remake of the action thriller will celebrate the 12th anniversary of its release on Nov. 21.
