Krispy Kreme Rolls Out 3 New Fall Doughnuts — and None of Them Are Pumpkin-Flavored

Pumpkin isn’t the apple ofKrispy Kreme’seye this fall.On Sept. 16, the bakery chain revealed that four new and returning autumnal doughnuts have been added to the fall menu. The lineup, called the Golden Harvest Collection, features four treats — but none of them are pumpkin-focused.The three new sweets — Maple Buttercreme Doughnut, Oatmeal Kreme Pie Doughnut and Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut — join a fan-favorite option: Spiced Apple Filled Doughnut.The four doughnuts are full of maple and apple flavors.Krispy KremeThe first of the newbies is the Maple Buttercreme Doughnut, which takes an original glazed doughnut and tops it with maple-flavored buttercream. A smattering of fall-themed sprinkles is added on top for a fall look.The Oatmeal Kreme Pie Doughnut is an unglazed donut with cream filling. The treat is dipped in cookie dough-flavored icing and streusel crumbles and topped with a mini oatmeal cookie.The last of the new doughnuts is the Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut. For this dessert, an original glazed donut is decorated with dulce de leche and cream cheese-flavored buttercream and topped with crunchy salted caramel pieces.Fans know and love the Spiced Apple Filled Doughnut, also available in the Golden Harvest Collection. A cinnamon sugar doughnut is chock-full of apple filling, making for a handheld pie-like bite.While this newly available collection might not have any quintessential pumpkin-flavored treats, that is just because Krispy Kreme already released PSL-inspired doughnuts last month.Starting on Aug. 12, fans have been able to score apumpkin spice cake doughnut and pumpkin spice latte.Krispy Kreme also has pumpkin spice cake doughnuts and pumpkin spice lattes.Krispy KremeThe fan-favorite doughnut is both old-fashioned style and glazed. It’s sold individually and in a dozen-pack at bakery locations or in six-packs at select grocery stores nationwide.Plus, the doughnut chain is now offering pumpkin spice lattes that are available hot, iced or frozen. All come with whipped cream on top.Also new to the bakery cases at Krispy Kreme are theBarbie  x Krispy Kreme Collection treats. The lineup celebrates the Barbie brand’s 65th anniversary with four Barbie-inspired doughnuts: Barbie Pink, Malibu Dream Party, Barbie Berries ‘n Kreme and Barbie Sweet 65th Doughnut.
