Lindsay Lohanis looking ahead to a bright future.
TheOur Little Secretactress, who got her start as theimpressive child star of 1998’sThe Parent Trap, said in a newinterview withFlauntmagazinethat she feels a “huge sense of gratitude” to have “lived through so many different experiences in life.”
Lohan, now 38, added, “I really have seen it all. Also, it’s made me so much stronger. It’s made me such a strong woman. I feel I’ve empowered myself in a lot of ways and that feels great. I know myself now at this age, better than ever.”
“I live from today. My life every day is a new day. I live looking forward towards the future,” she toldFlaunt. “I live without regrets. I think everything that has happened, I’ve learned from, and I’m grateful for that. Because, you know, everything is a lesson in life.”

Lohan added, “It’s better not just to toss those lessons aside because you never know … you always want to learn from anything in the past.”
These days, Lohan wants “absolutely everything I do to be in line with my values.”
“Starting my own business and producing more things that I love are part of where I want my future to take me,” said the actress, who is alsoreuniting with Jamie Lee Curtis in next year’sFreakier Friday.

Lohan toldBustleearlier this year that she removed herself from Hollywood for years after she felt negative scrutiny was overshadowing her work.
TheMean Girlsalum also said to the outlet that she doesn’t plan on doing a tell-all book or documentary about her life anytime soon.
“I congratulate all the people that [have done that]. I think it’s good that they do what they want to take their power back. When I’m ready and I accomplish all of the things I want to accomplish, then I’ll maybe consider doing it," said Lohan. “But my story isn’t finished yet, so I’m not in a rush to share my side of it.”
