Love Is BlindSeason 7 Couples: Who Got Married and Who Said 'I Don't'

The rollercoaster ofLove Is Blindseason 7has finally come to an end.

This season,29 singles hailing from the Washington D.C.area took a chance to find love in the pods. For a lucky group, that meant connecting with their soulmates in the pods and getting engaged sight unseen before meeting in person for the first time.

In total, seven couples got engaged in the pods, and all but one pair headed to Mexico for a romantic getaway. Once they returned home to D.C., the couples had to navigate their romances in the real world, grappling with the realities of day-to-day life, outside influences and their family and friends.

Heading into the season finale on Oct. 23, only three couples remained: Garrett Hoseman and Taylor Krause, Marissa George and Ramses Prashad, and Ashley Adionser and Tyler Frances.

Below, find out who made it to the altar and who called it quits on their engagement in theLove Is Blindseason 7 finale.

Taylor Krause and Garrett Hoseman

Taylor and Garrett were a perfect pairing from the beginning, bonding over their shared science backgrounds and similar values.

The two hit a bit of a bumpy patch in the pods when Taylor was fearful that her ethnicity would be a problem for Garrett, who admitted to only having dated white women previously. However, he couldn’t have been happier when the doors opened in their reveal and he saw Taylor standing across from him.

Things continued to run smoothly for the pair — even with Taylor’s parents' reluctancy to appear on the show — until episode 10 when Taylor got upset with Garrett for receiving a text from his ex-girlfriend and not being upfront about how he responded.

Ultimately, the two weathered that storm together and made it to their wedding day, where they both said “I do” to each other (in front of both their parents, no less!).

In her vows, Taylor told her groom, “You are the person in life who will help make the really heavy things in life thrown our way feel lighter. You lovingly challenge me and make me wanna be better every day. And I feel that with you as my partner, there truly isn’t anything we can’t do.”

Ashley Adionser and Tyler Frances

Like Taylor and Garrett, Ashley and Tyler formed a strong bond early in the pods, with both embracing their rare, vulnerable sides to express their emotions. Their journey on the show continued to be a smooth one until episode 9 when Tyler dropped the bombshell that he was a sperm donor and has three biological children, though he insisted he had no relationship with them.

When their wedding day finally rolled around, Ashley and Tyler said “I do” to their forever together.

“You’ve showed me what love truly is. I promise to cherish every moment, support your dreams and embrace the beautiful unknown that lies ahead. With you, every day is a new chapter and I can’t wait to fill the pages of our love story together,” Tyler told his bride at the altar.

Ashley added, “I’ve never felt a love this pure, yet fierce. I feel like we can do anything in life as long as we have each other. I feel like I’m living my own fairytale. You’re my soulmate, I think the Lord created you just for me.”

Marissa George and Ramses Prashad

The two got engaged after Marissa ended things with Bohdan Olinares in the pods and Ramses narrowed in on his connection with Marissa. Though they were happy as could be in Mexico, things got real when they returned to the real world, with their differing beliefs and perspectives rather clear to family and friends.

Things came to a head at the end of episode 11, where Ramses and Marissa had a conversation about their future and Ramses' concerns about getting married again. Ultimately, his fear that he would hurt Marissa became his main worry and he decided that they were better going their separate ways.

“How could I feel so sure, and you not?” Marissa asked. “I want someone to be sure about me.”

But despite applying for a marriage license together and being just days away from their wedding, Ramses called it off, leaving Marissa heartbroken and sobbing on the floor. “This is the worst day of my life,” Marissa cried in the heart-wrenching scene that concluded in the beginning of episode 12, before taking off her ring and leaving it on the carpet.

WHO SPLIT BEFORE THE FINALE?

Brittany Wisniewski and Leo Braudy

Brittany and Leo formed a connection in the pods after Leo moved on from his connection with Hannah Jiles.

The two ended up getting engaged, but after their first reveal — an awkward meeting where Brittany was clearly unsure of her feelings and unable to say “I love you” to Leo, while he was overwhelmingly sure of his devotion — it was confirmed that producers stopped following the pair. They ultimately jetted off to Miami for a vacation, but later called off their engagement and split.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, both Brittany and Leoagreed that their breakup was mutualand neither held any resentment toward the other.

“The chemistry just wasn’t there. We had a talk in the beginning about how this could work and then time went on during the trip and the chemistry just wasn’t there and we mutually felt that,” Brittany said. “We’re very good communicators, so it was not a big ordeal. It was a very clean, respectful realization. Leo, like I said, checked off a lot of the boxes of what I wanted in a man. He’s just not my person.”

“We had a lot of conversations throughout the trip, and mutually came to the conclusion that we just didn’t see it turning into marriage,” added Leo.

Monica Davis and Stephen Richardson

Monica and Stephen were an early fan-favorite pairing in the pods before getting engaged. In Mexico, the waters started getting rocky for the couple when Monica became upset that Stephen wasn’t showing her as much PDA as the other couples. She also grew irritated when Stephen wouldn’t bring her flowers once they returned home to D.C.

However, things reached a breaking point in episode 8 when it was revealed that Stephen went off to do a sleep test one night, but ended up sexting another woman while there, despite being engaged to Monica.

The emotional confrontation — which was particularly poignant as Stephen hadpreviously admitted to doing something similarin a past relationship while in the pods with Monica — ultimately ended with Stephen apologizing for his actions, Monica breaking down in tears and the two breaking up.

“I can’t do anything to change this, I will live with this,” Stephen said before leaving their shared apartment. “I truly am sorry for hurting you, for wasting your time, for coming on the show and doing this to you. I shouldn’t have come on the show.”

“Don’t you f—ing blame me at all for you being gross,” Monica stated before requesting Stephen Venmo her for the money she covered for him over the last few days. “I’m almost embarrassed about how much of my heart I’ve given you. You were gonna shake my dad’s hand this weekend? While you were planning on cheating? I don’t understand.”

Alex Byrd and Tim Godbee

Alex and Tim connected in the pods, each with an emotional backstory that helped them grow closer — Tim having lost both of his sisters, and Alex with her parents both living with M.S. After Tim gifted Alex a bracelet from his sisters, the two got engaged and appeared to be a great match.

However, things took a turn in Mexico when they got into a fight that cameras did not catch. As it was explained, Alex allegedly covered Tim’s mouth during an argument (somethingAlex later denied) and he was upset with how she treated him.

Though they moved forward with their engagement, even meeting each other’s families and Tim getting Alex’s father’s blessing, things fell apart in episode 10 when Alex took a nap following a meeting with his family, and Tim felt her actions were disrespectful.

Their disagreement quickly escalated as it was revealed they couldn’t see eye-to-eye on relationship expectations. Tim then confirmed he did not want to marry someone like Alex and never wanted to see her again, before leaving their shared apartment and calling off their engagement.

Tim laterspoke out on social media, saying he wasn’t doing it “to be a victim” but rather to “point out the lack of accountability and sincere self-reflection that one should do when they subject anyone to such consistently mean-spirited treatment, let alone to someone you claim to love.”

Alex also spoke toTodayabout their breakup and insisted she was blindsided, especially after it came just two days after Tim asked her father for his blessing to marry her.

“Honestly, I don’t know [what happened]. I wish to this day I could give you an answer… It threw me off,” she said. “I literally thought we were going to go all the way. There wasn’t really a doubt in my mind. In my previous relationship, couples are going to argue, they’re not going to see eye to eye on everything. So I didn’t really think our issues would ever be too big to not go the whole way.”

Hannah Jiles and Nick Dorka

Once in Mexico, the two had trouble when Nick rode a duck and Hannah said it gave her “the ick,” and later when Nick discovered herbullet-point list of Nick’s red flags. Things didn’t get better once they returned to Washington D.C. and Hannah continuously belittled him.

After meeting her family and friends in an awkward outing, and failing to see eye-to-eye on household and marital responsibilities, Hannah opted not to go to her bridal gown appointment with the rest of the women while Nick skipped out on his tuxedo fitting. The two called things off shortly after, with Hannah claiming Nick was not ready to get married.

“I think for me, it just came down to: I saw my friends [with him], my family was there, and I just had a moment where I was kind of like, what am I doing?” Hannahrecalled to PEOPLE. “If I’m still seeing all these issues and I’m just being mean to this man, I feel like I’m just dogging on this man, this is probably not someone that I want to be married to. It just all came to [this] realization, we shouldn’t be together.”
