Love Island USA's Kaylor Confirms She and Aaron Are 'Not Together' Before Filming Reunion: 'We Are Done'

It seems that love is no longer in the air for oneLove Island USAcouple.

Sinceseason 6 of the reality series concluded on July 21, fans have been wondering about the status of one of the show’s longest-lasting couples,Kaylor MartinandAaron Evans, who were voted off days before the finale.

On Aug. 14, the cast reunited in New York City to film a reunion special – which will air on Peacock on Aug. 19 – and Kaylor, 22, offered an update on her relationship status with Aaron, 27, given the speculation.

In aTikTokvideo, Kaylor told the cameras, “Aaron and I are not okay.”

Though we’ll have to wait until the reunion to know, for sure, whether Kaylor and Aaron are over for good, the 22-year-old has voiced her concerns about theTraitorsalum’s behavior since they left the villa.

During an interview on theBFFspodcast on July 31,Kaylor said she wanted to “take a step back” with Aaronand “take things really slow” given his behavior in Casa Amor – which she had “finally” watched.

“I don’t wanna end things, because I know what Aaron and I had was true and real, but I feel like I just gave him chance after chance … and it wasn’t even all of the Casa [Amor] thing, it was just more so him not taking accountability like Kordell [Beckham] did, which really hurt.”

She continued, “I don’t wanna give up on us, but I definitely have my doubts and I was telling Aaron the other day, I have trust issues now and I don’t wanna be that toxic person in this relationship.”

Aaron said he’s “willing to work through it” with Kaylor but knows that he has a lot to make up for.

“I understand why she’s got doubts, I understand why she’s got trust issues, I understand why all of America doesn’t like me because I don’t even like me,” he said.

Aaron added that when he watched the episodes back – from Casa Amor through Movie Night – he thought to himself, “This is so bad. I’m the biggest d—head that has walked the planet. I was as disappointed as everyone else.”
