Mandy Mooreis mourning the loss ofher beloved dog Jackson.
On Friday, Nov. 1, theThis Is Usactress, 40, shared in anInstagrampost that her “beautiful boy” Jackson had died, after being with her family for over 14 years.
“My beautiful boy. Thank you for an extraordinary 14+ years,” Moore wrote in the caption of the post, alongside photos of the sandy brown canine relaxing on the couch, spending time withher three kids.

Also included in the photos was a selfie of the actress and her pup as they cuddled on the couch, and Jackson playing with Moore’s cat Fig and her other dogs over the years.
“My Jackie D. My sweet old man,” Moore finished the post, before referring to another one of her late pets,Joni. “I hope you find Joni and have a giant pool to chase tennis balls and swim until your heart’s content. We love you forever. Thanks for choosing us. ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹.”

Back in 2021, the star also shared an update about the dog’s health, revealing that hehad undergone emergency surgery for a six-pound mass in his abdomen.
“We are remaining positive and hopeful,” she added, noting how the experience was heightened as she was pregnant at the time. “To say I’m beside myself about my sweet boy of 10 years is a bit of an understatement.”
Moore has always been candid about her love for her pets, and has previously spoken out after the death of another one of her dogs, Joni. After the small white pup died in 2021, theTangledstar shared on social media that her husband,Taylor Goldsmith, had bought her a toy dog fromCuddle Clonesthat is a near-perfect replica of her late canine.
In her caption, Moore said that Goldsmith bought her the stuffed animal for the holidays and that she intends to keep it so that their kids “will still know” Joni, whodied unexpectedly.
