Mark Duplass Says Jeremy Irons Is 'Really Goofy in Between Takes' onThe Morning ShowSeason 4 Set (Exclusive)

Jeremy Ironsmay be widely recognized for his sometimes intense, dramatic performances, but behind the scenes, the actor isn’t shy about showing off his lighter side.

During an interview withMark DuplassforPEOPLE in 10in promotion for his new series,The Creep Tapes, which is the third installment of theCreepfranchise, the actor shared his experiences working with Irons, who appears in the upcoming fourth season ofThe Morning Show.

“I just had a scene withMarion Cotillardand Jeremy Irons,” Duplass, 47, said. “Sitting across from Jeremy Irons and having him look at you with the f—— Claus von Bulow [fromReversal of Fortune]set of eyes… And then he’s just like really goofy in-between takes and sweet and … God. Incredible.”

In addition to Duplass, Irons and Aniston, the show also starsReese Witherspoon,Billy Crudup,Karen Pittman, Nestor Carbonell,Jon HammandGreta Lee.The Morning Showhas so far earned four Emmys, including two outstanding supporting actor in a drama series awards for Crudup.

It was a group effort, kicked off when Kate (Natalie Morales), Bradley (Witherspoon), Stella (Lee) and Chip (Duplass) worked together to learn what Paul was hiding and put a stop to the sale. Bradley and her brother Hal also eventually turned themselves into the FBI for their actions around the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S Capitol riots.

For Duplass, working on the award-winning show with its top-notch cast is something of a dream.

“The Morning Showis an incredible job because creatively, it’s wonderful,” he explained. “I get to be with people I love.”
