Friendsfans can now own a piece of the lateMatthew Perry’s iconic wardrobe as Chandler Bing, but only if the price is right.

In honor of the sitcom’s milestone 30th anniversary, Warner Bros. Television and Julien’s Auctions areauctioning off several piecesof memorabilia — including some show-worn articles of clothing — on Sept. 23 at a live auction, and now online.

Per the listing, Perry wore the top “in a scene at Central Perk where Monica informs him she won’t be changing her last name to Bing,” as well as later in the episode “when Phoebe brings her late mother’s Christmas candy dish to the gang’s holiday party.”

With a starting bid of $250, the sweater was expected to sell for between $1,000 and $1,500. As of Sunday, Sept. 1 — weeks before the live auction itself — the current bid already sits at $1,500.

The auction comes less than a year after theFriendsstar died at age 54 in October 2023, after anaccidental drug overdose.

It also arrives as the iconic sitcom is set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its pilot episode, which premiered on Sept. 22, 1994.

According to the auction house, the auction itself “serves as a tribute to the show’s enduring legacy, providing fans with a unique opportunity to own a tangible piece of television history,” and is also a “testament to the show’s ability to forge connections and evoke cherished memories, solidifying its place as a cultural touchstone.”
