Meet NFL Star Stefon Diggs' Daughter (and Style Twin!) Nova

Stefon Diggsmay be an All-Pro wide receiver for the Houston Texans, but he’s also a dad to his daughter Nova.

Today, the father and daughter duo continue to share sweet moments on and off the field.

From growing up in a football family to her close bond with her grandmother, here’s everything to know about Stefon Diggs’ daughter, Nova.

She is from a football family

Like her father, Nova’s uncles are also football players. Trevon Diggs is a cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys, Mar’Sean Diggs played safety for the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Darez Diggs played defensive back for the Morgan State Bears.

The brothers are close, especially Stefon and Trevon, and welcomed their kids within two weeks of each other.

In a 2022 interview withSports Illustrated, the siblings revealed they’re together “nine times out of 10” during the offseason.

When asked about his relationship with his younger brother, Stefon added that he is “more protective in different ways—not so much physical, more so decision-making, keeping his head on straight. He plays for America’s team. That’s a big deal.”

He also sees similarities between Nova and Trevon, particularly their soft-spoken nature. “When I look at her, I’m like, ‘Whoa, you act just like Tre,’ ” Stefon said.

Trevon agreed and revealed that his son, Aaiden, is much more like Stefon in personality.

Nova is into martial arts

Nova is already carving her own athletic path within the family.

Her grandmother Stephanieshared a photo of herselfand the budding martial artist in June 2022 after she reached a new training milestone.

“My granddaughter just upgraded to a yellow belt. She broke her first board. Why she showed up in heels lol! Karate Dive,” she captioned the Instagram post.

Stephanie later added more context about Nova’s shoe selection.

“Ok! She showed up to her class in heels. She was stepping. She kick them off and got down to business. Karate Princess 👸,“she wrote.

She supports her dad at his games

Nova has been spotted at her father’s games and has also celebrated his victories with him on the field.

After the Buffalo Bills enjoyed a 38-3 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers in October 2022, Stefon pulled his daughter out of the stands fora victory lapfrom the field to the tunnel.

The father and daughter duo jogged alongside each other into the facility. Stefon then lifted Nova to the camera and told her to cheer, “Go Bills!” which she happily repeated.

She is close to her grandmother

Next to her dad, Nova’s grandma, Stephanie, is one of her biggest fans. The family matriarch often posts about her grandchildren, including Nova.

When the youngster started kindergarten, Stephaniedocumented the moment on Instagramwith a photo of the then-5-year-old and a chalkboard of her “statistics,” like her favorite food (McDonald’s) and her career aspirations (veterinarian).

“My pretty first day of school. Enjoy your day. Love you ❤️🙏😘,” the proud grandmother wrote.

She and her dad share the same fashion sense

Stefon is considered one of the most stylish players in the NFL — he even attended theMet Galain 2024.

In aGQinterviewthat same year, the Texans wide receiver shared a piece of advice his mom gave him that influenced his fashion sensibilities.

“My mom told me that a girl always pays attention to your shoes and your smile,” he said. “I got my own swag. I don’t try to be like anybody else.”

Two years before, Stephanie wrote in a 2022Instagrampost, “My granddaughter always got on fits. Her shoe game is better than her Dad.”
