WhileAndre AgassiandSteffi Grafhad a lot in common even before they married in 2001, their children have given them infinitely more to share.In October 2001, the famous tennis couple welcomed their first child, son Jaden Gil Agassi, into the world. Two years later, in October 2003, Steffi gave birth to their daughter, Jaz Elle Agassi.Andre recalled in his autobiographyOpenthat his own father was incredibly strict, longing for him to become a professional athlete. “My father yells everything twice, sometimes three times, sometimes 10,” he wrote. “Harder, he says, harder. Hit earlier. Damn it Andre, hit earlier, Crowd the ball, crowd the ball.”Much later, when it came time to parent their own children, Andre and Steffi chose a different route: “We never really introduced tennis so much into their lives.
