“We’ve had relationships that have come and have gone and then you get to a point where you kind of meet your match and meet someone that inspires you in a way different than anybody else,” he said. “I’m grateful for [Mariano] and I’m happy to have arrived in this moment, so married life is nice.”

Last week, Marianoshared a post on Instagramin celebration of her and Ventimiglia’s one-year wedding anniversary, featuring photos from their Hawaii nuptials.
“Last year I married my best friend,” she captioned the heartfelt post. “There aren’t enough words that exist to describe all the special qualities that make him who he is. AlI can say is that I am grateful for the life that we have together and the happiness that we have created 🤍. Aloha wau iā ‘oe my husband Milo.”
The couple has previously been intentional about wanting to keep their relationship private. Ventimigliatold PEOPLE in 2017that he prefers to remain personally “invisible” so people can focus on his work.
“I try to minimize myself so people can see the character and can really dive into the work,” he explained at the time. “I try and remain as anonymous and invisible as I can so it doesn’t take away from the experience of the men that I play. I don’t know how interesting my life is any more than anyone else’s.”
