Nick Cannon Admits Having a Teenage Daughter Is 'Horrifying,' Jokes She 'Lives at Sephora': 'Why Are You Putting That Stuff On?'

Nick Cannonis getting the hang of being a teenage girl dad.

As a guest onThe Talkon Tuesday, Oct. 15, theMasked Singerhost, 43, opened up about raising his 13-year-old twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, whom he shares with ex-wifeMariah Carey. Though Cannon says he can “handle” Moroccan, the dad of 12 admits that raising teenagers, and especially a teen girl, is “horrifying.”

“I can actually handle my son because he is so much like me,” he shares, “But my daughter, she’s like, wearing make-up and taking two hours in the bathroom. Like what are you doing in there!”

“It’s scary,” the proud dad says, “because I’m just watching her evolve into this young woman and, I mean, I can’t stop it.”

He continues to discuss Monroe’s love of make-up, revealing that her favorite place to spend time with friends is Sephora.

“I’m standing at the front of Sephora, and I’ve been in there for over an hour, I’d say,” he shares of the longest he’s ever been at the cosmetic conglomerate, adding that it takes extra long because “she goes with her friends.”

He then hilariously compares the store to a maze, saying, “There’s like a maze in the line, and I don’t know how the store works at all.”

Cannon is father to two children withAlyssa Scott— sonZen, whodiedat five months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer, and daughterHalo Marie Cannon born on Dec. 14, 2022.
