Nicki Minaj Shares Rare Photo with Her 4-Year-Old Son After 'Magical' Concert: 'Waiting Up for Mama'

Nicki Minajwas able to spend some quality time with her son after wrapping up her concert — even though it was a little past his bedtime.

On Wednesday, Oct. 9, the rapper, 41, shared a carousel of photoson Instagramafter her concert in Raleigh, N.C. on Oct. 8. In a few of the photos, Minaj can be seen posing with her 4-year-old son, holding him on her hip as she smiles.

The mother-son duo can also be seen looking into a mirror and posing together as Minaj embraces her son, whom they call “Papa Bear.”

“#GagCityRaleighwas 1️⃣ for the 📚. I hope I made you guys as happy as you made me. It was a magical night. After a long night, I rushed back to the hotel just to see my little guy,” Minaj wrote in her caption.

“I was sure he’d be asleep once I realized how late it was tho… but when I walked in, surprise- he was waiting up for mama. Until next time, North Carolina. Love you.”

Earlier this month, the “Super Freaky Girl” rappershared her love for her son as she celebrated his fourth birthdayon Instagram. The proud mom posted a series of silly videos and cute pictures from throughout his life, leaving a sweet message for her little one in the caption.

“Dear #PapaBear, Happy 4th birthday, buddy,” she wrote. “You’ve made mama & daddy so happy. Since you were in mama’s tummy, you gave me a whole new meaning to life. Hope.”

Sincebecoming a mom, Minaj says she’s “more of a forgiving person.”
