No, Amanza Smith Has Not Heard from Trevor Noah, but She's Happy Being Single (Exclusive)

Although Amanza Smith hasn’t from her “future husband,” comedian and formerDaily ShowhostTrevor Noah, she’s okay with being single — for now.

Onseason 8 ofSelling Sunset, which dropped on Netflix Sept. 6, Smith, 47, confirmed that she wasn’t currently dating anyone — despitesparking romance rumors with a mystery manon Instagram last summer — and didn’t shy away from putting her dating aspirations out into the universe.

Noah was previously in arelationship with Minka Kelly, which ended in 2022. Kravitz was married toLisa Bonetfrom November 1987 to 1993. Since then, he has been linked toVanessa Paradis,Adriana LimaandNicole Kidman, but recently revealed hehasn’t been in a serious relationship in nine years.

When it comes to Noah, in particular, Smith described him as brilliant and handsome, telling her co-workers that she thought the two would “make a cute couple” when they suggested that she should be the one to show him properties as he looks for a new home.

But despite all that, Smith tells PEOPLE she has yet to hear from Kravitz or Noah. “Trevor Noah has not reached out. Lenny Kravitz has not,” she says while looking back on filming thedrama-filled new seasonof the hit Netflix series, which also saw her physically and mentally bouncing back from alife-threatening health scareand discovering her passion as a painter after landing her first art gallery gig.

Not only has she not heard from Kravitz, Smith admits that she mistakenly thought the music icon had slid into her DMs on Instagram multiple times.

“It’s so embarrassing,” she says, explaining that on the social media platform it looks like someone has sent you a direct message when it’s actually a notification that they updated their channel. It’s something she has fallen for “probably two or three times.”

“But no, Lenny Kravitz and Trevor Noah have not reached out,” Smith confirms.

The former Indianapolis Colts cheerleader andDeal or No Dealbriefcase model has dated several celebrities in the past.

She waslinked to NSYNC’s JC Chasez, dated actor Taye Diggs, and was married toNFL player Ralph Brown, with whom she shares two kids: daughter Noah and son Braker.

Smith also had a flirtatious encounter this season with a guy named Zach, who tried to get her number during avisit to Pioneertown, the Old West town the show’snewest agent Alanna Goldowns a portion of.

Asked if she might be interested in pursuing anything with him, she laughs and says, “Oh, my god, I was just being nice. He was cute but not my type.”

For now, the real estate agent confirms to PEOPLE that she’s “still single” and that her focus is on taking care of herself.

“I mean, I do all right, but I’m just not really interested in dating right now. I’m really focused on just trying to catch up to where I feel like I should be,” Smith continues. “It takes a lot to go on a date” and right now, she says, she’s invested in her art and pushing that newfound career forward as she prepares for an exhibit coming up in London.
