The couple welcomed their first child, sonMalcolm Hiệp Mulaney, on Nov. 24, 2021. Since then, his parents have watched him reach big milestones, such assaying his first words, trying new foods andeven learning how to open doors.

As the child of two celebrities, Malcolm has also experienced some pretty cool moments, from traveling to beautiful destinations likeColorado’s Red Rocks Parktovisiting his dad in New York Cityon the set ofSaturday Night Live.

In July 2024, Malcolm watchedMunn and Mulaney get marriedin an intimate ceremony. Two months later, his little sister,Méi June Mulaney, arrived.

He was named after his great uncle

“Malcolm got to meet his great uncle. His middle name is named after him💛,” Munn wrote, calling her uncle her “favorite.”

He made his Instagram debut in December 2021

Mulaney also shared a snap of his son sleeping, writing, “Meet Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. He has his whole life ahead of him. He hasn’t even tried seltzer yet. I’m very in love with him and his whole deal. Happy Holidays.”

He has already accomplished some major milestones

Munn and Mulaney are clearly proud parents, often posting Malcolm’s major life accomplishments on social media. First words and first steps aside, Munn was particularly excited about another achievement:Malcolm’s restaurant debut.

“Crazy pho you. Malcolm goes to his first restaurant,” Munn captioned an Instagram post that showed her little one seated on her lap as she enjoyed Pho. Other images featured Mulaney and Munn’s mother Kim as they all posed for a group pic with Malcom.

Take your kid to work day seemingly has no age limit! Munn shared an adorable trip to theSNLset, whereshe brought a then three-month-old Malcolm to visithis dad on the job.

Munn posed next to a television screen that showed a black and white image of Mulaney (whohosted the Feb. 26 show) as he gave their son a kiss on the head. “Proud of my guys,” she wrote.

Munn and Mulaney are teaching him through storytime

He pointed to a picture of a snake and made the sound “ssss,” which Malcolm copied. The couple cheered the toddler on before Mulaney pointed to the next animal. “Wait, what about this?” he asked, pointing to a “piggy.”

Malcolm didn’t hesitate to make a snorting sound, which made Mulaney laugh, falling back on the couch.

He had a big bash for his first birthday

Munn and Mulaneypulled out all the stopsfor their son’s first birthday in November 2022. The highlight of the birthday bash? Chocolate cake, of course!

The Gatewayactress postedseveral shotsof Malcolm eating pieces of cake with his small hands. The toddler — wearing a white shirt with gray shorts and a knitted crown with a “1” on it — was quick to get messy, with pieces of chocolate smeared across his face and all over his outfit.

He was his mom’s first thought when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2023

During treatment — which included a double mastectomy and now, hormone suppression therapy that has put her into medically induced menopause — Munn said that being with Malcolm is the “only time my brain doesn’t think about being sick.”

“Im just so happy with him. And it puts a lot of stuff into perspective,” she said. “Because if my body changes, I’m still his mom. If I have hot flashes, I’m still his mom. If I lose my hair, I’m still his mom. That’s really what matters the most to me. I get to be here for him.”

He attended his parents' wedding

Munn and Mulaney wed in a simple, intimate ceremony in July 2024, PEOPLE confirmed.

The event took place at a friend’s home in New York and the couple exchanged vows in front of Malcolm and one other witness, according to a source.

He is a big brother

Malcolm became a big brother on Sept. 14, 2024, when his sister,Méi June Mulaney, was born. His parents welcomed Méi via surrogate after Munn’s cancer diagnosis.
