“My Méi 🥹,” Munn sweetly referred to her daughter in the caption.

The famous mom — who also has a sonMalcolm Hiệp Mulaney, 2 — wrote that she had “so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter” following her breast cancer diagnosis in 2023. This all changed, however, when she met her gestational surrogate and found her “real-life angel."

On Monday, Sept, 23, a source close to the couple revealed to PEOPLE that “they are in total bliss with Méi andMalcolm.” The insider added, “After everything they have been through there’s no tighter, closer little family."

In May, Munn opened up toVogueup about her decision to freeze her eggs to leave the opportunityto expand her familyafter previously doing so at ages 33 and 39.

Her daughter’s arrival came after she spoke to PEOPLE about her “terrifying”breast cancerin April. The actress, following her diagnosis the year prior, went through four surgeries, a double mastectomy, medically induced menopause and a partial hysterectomy/oophorectomy in April.

On Sept. 4, Munnshared in a health updateon Instagram that she was “doing ok” as she detailed the timeline of her cancer journey.
