The cast for the upcoming season ofBeefhas been revealed.

Netflix announced on Tuesday, Oct. 22 thatOscar Isaac,Carey Mulligan,Charles MeltonandCailee Spaenywill star in the second season of the acclaimed series.

The new season ofBeefwill chronicle a young couple witnessing “an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner,” according to an official synopsis.

Season 2 ofBeef— which will feature eight 30-minute episodes — will see Lee Sung Jin return as creator, showrunner and executive producer while Jake Schreier is set to join season 1 starsSteven YeuandAli Wongas executive producers.

As fans may recall, season 1 began with an entertaining road-rage incident between Yeun and Ali Wong’s characters, which becomes something far more as it progresses.

In the event’s aftermath, the main characters find their lives intertwined in unexpected ways and explore the complex push and pull between the shackles of cultural expectations and being one’s real self.

The show went on to become the most recognized and award-winning anthology series of the 2023-2024 awards season. It scored eight Emmy Awards, four Critics Choice Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, two Gotham Awards, two Film Independent Spirit Awards, two SAG Awards, in addition to PGA, WGA and AFI Honors.

After the Emmys, Jin revealed toThe Hollywood Reporterthat he had been “constantly writing stuff down” for a potential season 2.
