A diver recently reunited a man with his college ring — which he lost in the ocean 47 years ago!
Morgan Perigo was parted from his 1965 class ring from Canada’s McMaster University in 1977, when he was on vacation with his family in Barbados,according to CNN.
When a big wave threatened to separate Perigo from his son, he held on dearly to the boy but not so much his ring, which slipped into the water.

A personal trainer remains missing days after falling into a reservoir while paddleboarding in England.
The missing man, who has been identified as Simon Daniels, fell into the water at Dovestone Reservoir in Oldham on Sunday, Oct. 20, according to the Greater Manchester Police.
“Emergency services are currently responding to reports of two people going into water at Dovestones Reservoir,” police said in aninitial statementposted on X (formerly Twitter) later that day.

On Tuesday, Sept. 24, Peter Smith, who is in his late 50s, pleaded guilty in Raymond Terrace local court to one count of aggravated animal cruelty, theAustralian Associated Pressand Australia’sABC Newsreported.
The incident happened in January 2024 at the Oakvale Farm and Fauna World at Salt Ash in New South Wales.
Citing court documents, theAustralian Associated Press(AAP) reported that Smith reached over a concrete rock wall within a sanctuary at the farm to grab Betty White, a white Chinese silkie bantam chicken, and then hid the animal inside his shirt.
