On Saturday, Nov. 16, theBaywatchalum, 57, was photographed out on the town in Los Angeles after she introduced a special screening of the 1961 classic filmThe Misfits,starringClark GableandMarilyn Monroe,
Continuing her recent streak of simple-yet-chic ensembles, Anderson wore a gray, ankle-length skirt and matching button-down shirt tucked in at the waist. The actress wore no makeup and had her hair styled in a loose ponytail.

The former model first debuted her now-signature makeup-free look more than a year ago atParis Fashion Week.
“I don’t know, something just kind of came over me and I was dressing in these beautiful clothes and I thought, ‘I don’t want to compete with the clothes,’ " Anderson said of her choice to forgo makeup in a video forVogueFrance. “I’m not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room. I feel like it’s just freedom. It’s a release.”
“She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup,” the actress said.

Speaking withThe Sunday Timesin an interview published on Nov. 10, the animal rights activist shared that she feels “more myself than ever” since her decision to wear less makeup.
“There’s these beautiful clothes. I’m wearing Vivienne Westwood. I have this great hat and beautiful coat. Nobody’s going to notice if I don’t wear any makeup,” she told the outlet.
“I didn’t realize it was going to start all of this, all these people really relating to me,” she continued. “It’s a great message — we are good enough just the way we are. I have to remind myself of that every day.”
