As she prepares to wrap up her maternity leave and head back to Peloton, Gullickson says she hopes to bring back some of the confidence she’s gained as a new mom.

“I think that’s something that I’m going to bring back to my classes to be like, ‘I’m telling you, doing the hard things. it makes you way more confident.’ And you’ve got to BYOE always.“The new mom, 30, says she also looks to friends and family for advice — including her many siblings and other Peloton moms.

“I rely on friends and family for advice and also stick to a trusted circle. There is so much information out there right now that’s kind of information overload, and so it’s a little nerve-wracking,” she admits. “So I’ve honestly learned too, to just trust my gut and do what feels best for Chris and myself. And that has gone a long way.”

The strength instructor adds that it’s “so comforting” to see other Peloton coaches come back to work after welcoming their own little ones.

“If they can do it, I can do it too,” she says. “They’re such inspirations when it comes to being not only fitness instructors, but humans and moms. And I felt like when I became pregnant too, I was really like, ‘Okay, how am I going to do this?’ And I’m like, ‘What am I saying? All of these wonderful women around me were able to do this.'”

“And it was hard, obviously on some days when I felt so nauseous or just wasn’t feeling myself. And I stopped [working] at 38 weeks. And so they truly stood as an inspiration to me. I’m very, very grateful for them.”

Gullickson also shares her excitement to be promoting the stuffed animal brand GUND as she grew up with the plushes herself and is excited to introduce the toys to Cash.

“I had theGUND plush Muttsy, it’s a little dog. It comes full circle now because I love my dog,Charlie,” she shares of her family’s golden retriever. “Now that I’m a mom, I definitely want to introduce all the plush toys to Cash. He loves any of the puppy dog ones. He also has one of the rattles that’s a little giraffe from their Safari collection, it’s so cute.”

Last month, Gullickson got tocelebrate International Friendship Day with GUNDandToys “R” Usat an event held at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City.

“It’s so exciting because we’re not only celebrating friendships in all its forms, human and plush, but we’re getting to share that nostalgic joy that GUND has brought so many of us over the years.”
