Pregnant Cardi B Reunites with Offset to Celebrate Son Wave's Airplane-Themed 3rd Birthday amid Their Divorce

The proud parents reunited on Saturday, Aug. 31amid their divorceto celebrate their son Wave Set’s third birthday a few days early, alongside an adorably elaborate airplane-themed party, per behind-the-scenes images Cardi and Offset shared on their respective Instagram Stories.

To kick off the festivities on social media, the “Up” rapper posted a short-but-sweet video of Wave — whom she and Offsetwelcomedon Sept. 4, 2021 — standing outside shirtless as he hung out with his big sisterKulture Kiari, 6.

“Issa Party. Big Wave🌊 ,” Cardi captioned the clip.

After sharing a couple of pics of herself in white attire and carrying a pink Louis Vuitton bag, Cardi then uploaded a video of Wave dancing with his dad, Offset, during the party.

In the footage, Offset and Wave matched in Timberland boots and jeans, as the Migos member hyped his son up. He then smiled and picked Wave up off the ground and into his arms.

Cardi’s later uploads on her Instagram Stories showed family and friends attending the gathering — which featured a massive plane-inspired blue cake featuring a topper that read “Wave Airlines” and several other airline-inspired cake toppers — representing luggage and passports.

The party also included massive plane displays with the same “Wave Airlines” logo, another poster featuring airline “departures” and some cute plane-themed goodies for party-goers to take home.

For food, the family provided kids with an array of Mr. Beast burgers, as adults were cooked up some meatballs, mashed potatoes, lobster mac and cheese, ribs and more from chef Franklin Rosario, who Cardi tagged in a clip of the food.

In the clip, which Offset captioned with “Rizz God,” the rapper jokingly asked his son to “show that rizz.”

Offset’s follow-up video gave fans a closer-up look at the diamond pendant across Wave’s neck, as Offset joked that his son “got that s— on.” He later shared a clip of his kids riding a roller coaster and posing with him at the party.

The “Style Rare” MC is also dad to sons Jordan, 14, and Kody, 9, as well daughter Kalea Marie, 9, from previous relationships.

Cardifiled for divorcefrom Offset after six years of marriage on July 31, and announced a day later that she’s expecting her third child.

“With every ending comes a new beginning,” she wrote at the time. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!”

“Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!”
