Prince William's Most Relatable Parenting Confession Yet (It Involves Screen Time with George, Charlotte and Louis!)

The Prince of Wales previously spoke aboutlimiting his children’s screen timeduring a previous BAFTA visit in January 2022. During the stop to hear about how the next generation is developing careers in the creative arts, Prince William said that Prince George was a fan of gaming — but he and Princess Kate were “trying to regulate” his screen time.

The royal dad added that his younger children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis (who were then 6 and 3), “are a bit too small at the moment, but they love the films.”

Though William made a lighthearted comment about his children commandeering the remote, the Wales kids might also have to battle their dad to choose what to watch next! According toThe Independent, William told director Paul Greengrass, “AnotherBourne, anotherBourne,” referring to theJason Bournefilm franchise during the Oct. 9 outing. (Greengrass directed three of the five films in theBournefranchise: 2004’sThe Bourne Supremacy, 2007’sThe Bourne Ultimatumand 2016’sJason Bourne.)

According toThe Times, “Greengrass laughed and shook his head” at the suggestion.

While George, Charlotte and Louis have been back in the classroom for a new school year, their summer vacation included at least a little television. On July 15, the Prince and Princess of Wales posted arare photofrom home that showed Charlotte and Louis watching the UEFA European Championship final on television while wearing personalized soccer jerseys featuring their first names and a number corresponding with their respective ages — 9 for Charlotte and 6 for Louis.

The siblings might have had an eye out for their big brother George and father William, as the father and sonattended the match togetherin Germany.

“@England, your teamwork, grit and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old. Congratulations to Spain,” the Prince and Princess of Wales wrote below the photo, signed “W & C” to indicate that it came directly from them.

On Oct. 3, Prince William hinted that he and his family also followed Team Great Britain at the 2024Paris Olympicson television.

While visitingthe reopened Birtley Community Pool, William told British Olympic swimmer Tom Dean that he didn’t go to the Olympics because he “didn’t want to risk” contracting COVID amid Princess Kate’schemotherapy treatment. “But we watched the whole thing. We were glued to it every day,” he said.

The Princess of Wales, 42, issued a personal video message on Sept. 9 to announce that she had completed chemotherapy, sharing the news six months after she shared in March that she was undergoing treatment for cancer.
