School’s almost back in session forAbbott Elementary!

Alongside PEOPLE’s exclusive look at the key art for the upcoming season, which features the cast looking off into the distance with hopeful looks on their faces, series creatorQuinta Brunsonopens up about what fans can expect in the highly anticipated fourth installment of the ABC comedy.

“It’s gonna be a fun season of tv,” she muses.

Though Brunson, 34, remains tight lipped on what’s to come, executive producer Justin Halpern adds, “We are really excited to grow these characters in season 4 and keep making comedy.”

Abbott Elementaryfollows a group of teachers at a Philadelphia public school. The three-time Emmy Award-winning mockumentary sitcom stars Brunson as Janine Teagues,Tyler James Williamsas Gregory Eddie,Janelle Jamesas Principal Ava Coleman,Lisa Ann Walteras Melissa Schemmenti,Sheryl Lee Ralphas Barbara Howard,Chris Perfettias Jacob Hill and William Stanford Davis as Mr. Johnson.

“I’m not gonna tell you with who, or with what, or where, or when, but it’s really exciting and I think it’ll change television as we know it,” Brunson teased of the “interesting crossover.”
