TheIt’s Always Sunny in Philadelphiastar, who is Reynolds’ friend and Wrexham AFC co-chairman, announced in celebration of Reynolds’ 48th birthday that he was partnering with Best Friends Animal Society for “the ultimate birthday surprise.”
Reynolds, whose birthday is Wednesday, Oct. 23, posted anInstagramvideo of McElhenney, 47, saying Best Friends named all the animals up for adoption after theDeadpoolstar to mark the occasion.
The pair typically celebrate one another’s birthdays with unconventional gifts. In the past, Reynolds commissioned aTitanic-inspired portrait of McElhenney, and McElhenney gifted Reynoldsa blimp with his face on it.

So he has a proposal. Everyone should have their own Ryan Reynolds to “shower him with love and affection.”
He explained thatBest Friends Save Them Allrenamed all of the puppies, senior dogs, cats, kittens, horses, pigs, bunnies, birds, as well as a turtle and a donkey after Reynolds.

“If you’d like to help take care of all these adorable Ryans, I’m going to match all donations to Best Friends, dollar for dollar through the end of the month, up to $25,000."
McElhenney said all the adoptable Ryan Reynolds are listed on theBest Friends’ website, and available in New York, Arkansas, California, Texas and at the Best Friends’ sanctuary in Utah.
