Cheryl HinesandRobert F. Kennedy Jr.cozied up in front of cameras this week, as allegations fly about how Kennedy allegedly developed a"personal relationship"with a political journalist.

The pair, who married in 2014, were seen embracing, laughing and sharing a kiss at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner on Thursday. In avideo posted to X, Hines, 59, was seen stroking her husband’s face with her finger.

Other attendees included former PresidentDonald Trumpand former first ladyMelania Trump, former New York City MayorMichael Bloombergand current N.Y.C. MayorEric Adams, who wasindicted on federal criminal chargesin September.

Just under a month ago, Kennedy, 70, and Hines' relationship was spotlighted when allegations emerged that the former presidential candidate andNew Yorkmagazine reporterOlivia Nuzzihad grown close during the campaign and exchanged lewd texts.

Themagazine published astatementabout Nuzzi, 31, being put on leave on Sept. 19, noting that she “acknowledged” that she “engaged in a personal relationship with a former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign while she was reporting on the campaign.”

Weeks after the controversy surfaced, a source close to Hinestold PEOPLEthat she and Kennedy “barely spoke” in the two weeks after the news broke. Another sourceclaimed in early Octoberthat theCurb Your Enthusiasmactress “has been talking about filing for divorce, but he’s begging her not to file.”

Recently the couple have displayed a united front in public appearances.

Two days afterthe death of Kennedy’s mother, Ethel, on Oct. 10, Kennedy and Hines wereseen holding handsaround the Kennedy family’s compound in Hyannis Port.

Hines also commented onKennedy’s social media tributeto his mother, writing, “This is beautiful.Your mother was very proud of you. 🤍.”
