RHOC's Alexis Bellino Says She Doesn't Know If Her Wedding to John Janssen Will Be Filmed, Here's What He Says (Exclusive)

Alexis BellinoandJohn Janssenare ready to get married — but maybe not in front of the cameras.

“Not gonna film it. Not a Bravo special or anything like that. I don’t know that they would want that,” says Janssen, 61, nearly one month after hepopped the question during a getaway to the San Ysidro Ranchin Santa Barbara, Calif.

Bellino, 47, tells PEOPLE that she and Janssen have let Bravo know what their hopes are for their special day but when asked if there will be cameras filming, she adds, “I don’t know, so stay tuned.”

One thing the bride-to-be is sure of, however, is what makes Janssen “the one.”

“He is strong, he is loving, caring, he has brought me out of my darkest moment in a loving way. He is my rock. And he’s funny,” she adds. “He’s funny, which is f—— important.”

While Janssen hilariously quips that “the only person who thinks I’m funny is Alexis,” the two agree that their engagement, which came months after theyfirst started dating in December 2023, has them on “cloud nine” and is something they finally got “right.”

Bellino tells PEOPLE that the most memorable moment has been “the shock” of being proposed to.

“Because I really thought he was going to do it before and then he did it when I wasn’t prepared. So yeah, it was the shock of it. But I love that, because it was just he and I,” she says.

“She knew it was coming, but not the timing,” explains Janssen. Before dating Bellino, Janssen dated herRHOCcostar Shannon Beador.

Once the moment came, Bellino proudly shared the news online, writing in anInstagram poston Wednesday, Aug. 28: “On Cloud 9 🎉❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️, celebrating 9 months of love and laughter, and looking forward to my forever with you. Every moment together has been a gift. I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we’re building together with our kids. And the answer is 100000000% yes.”
