“Why don’t you have a prenup?” Heather asked as she sipped her drink.

“You’ve gotta take a break off the prenup,” Bronwyn snapped back. “You wanna keep knocking on that door and you’re not gonna like when I open it. It doesn’t matter if I have a prenup. The fact [is] that you don’t know my husband and you have opined multiple times on what he should or should not have done.”

Heather jokingly shouted, “Pray tell, Shakespeare,” before listing the things she knows about Todd. “I know that he doesn’t have a prenup with you. I know that he collects Starbucks mugs. And I know that he is an asshole on couple’s trips when he wants someone to leave. That’s all I know about your husband and that’s enough for me to know that maybe I shouldn’t get to know him further.”

Referring to Todd tellingLisa Barlow’s husband they would have to leave if Lisa disrespected Bronwyn during the trip, Bronwyn called her out, saying, “Cute, Lisa.”

The women then went silent as Mary assured Heather that Bronwyn “does care” about their friendship.

“Heather, I said to you, ‘I want you to come, I am planning for you to come,’” Bronwyn then said. “I even bought you a first class return ticket.”

As the ladies began to argue over where the first class ticket went — given all of them were seated in coach — Heather told Bronwyn to prove that she actually bought it.

“Who did you ask [for my birthday] because not a single person here knows my actual birthday because I’ve lied to every single one of them,” Heather declared.

Pulling up the receipt, Bronwyn quipped: “I’ll forward it to you and you can memorize it.”

In her confessional, Bronwyn explained why she was so adamant about going back and forth with Heather.

She then told her fellow housewives, “It doesn’t matter what I say to Heather, Heather is just going to say, ‘Oh there’s another problem.’ There’s no getting through a problem.”

“Every time I say, ‘Let’s get to the bottom of this,’ Heather changes what she’s mad at me about,” she added.

WhenWhitney Rosestepped in to attempt to mediate the situation, she acknowledged Heather’s “trauma in friendships and trusting people” but encouraged her to give Bronwyn another chance.

“I know that I’m coming on strong, Whitney,” Heather interrupted. “I know that I’m angry, I know that I’m coming hard at Bronwyn. I know all this because I am very hurt.”

“At this point, Heather, I am still open to getting to know you,” Bronwyn said. “I think that you have a very wrong opinion of who I am, and I wanted to show you differently on the trip but we didn’t get there. But there is part of me that feels like it’s not just me in this situation. You don’t want to hear me saying to you, ‘I want you to come, I want to fix it.’”

Suddenly, Heather changed her tune as she listened to Bronwyn share her hopes for their relationship in the future.

“I am fiercely defensive of my friendships, they are the family that has replaced the family I have lost,” Heather admitted. “We have a very dysfunctional complicated relationship I don’t expect you to understand, so I am very cautious of new people coming into this group. You can see how this has been incredibly disruptive for me. I have people that have loved me and had my back universally in horrible situations so to be left out like that hurt my feelings and I’m gonna process that.”

Heather then offered an apology: “I’m sorry that it’s coming off so mean at you. I will take you at face value that you wanted me there. I’m sure you didn’t want this type of disruption in your life and I’m sorry for that. I would be absolutely open to [a] clean slate and moving forward.”
