Rod Stewart Announces North American Dates for One Last Time Farewell Tour: 'Unprecedented Evening of Iconic Hits'

Rod Stewartis saying farewell to touring with one last run across America!

TheRock & Roll Hall of Famer, 79, announced his One Last Time tour will hit the U.S. and Canada for 20 new shows starting in March in Austin, Texas and ending in St. Louis in August.

Stewart previously took the concert on the road across Europe and Asia, with a stacked setlist including hits like “Maggie May,” “Forever Young,” “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?,” “The First Cut Is the Deepest,” “Young Turks” and “Ooh La La,” the Faces classic.

“Each show promises an unprecedented evening of iconic hits and a concert production befitting one of the era’s greatest live performers,” a press release says.

In addition to his new tour dates, Stewart will also play 13 Las Vegas shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from March through June.

He wasforced to cancelhis milestone 200th Vegas residency show in August after coming down with strep throat. Though the canceled show was initially meant to close out his 13-year residency, called The Hits, heextended it for an encorethat’ll now be played amid his new tour dates.

In 2023, he opened up to PEOPLE about hisdesire to hang up his hatwhen it comes to large-scale tours — but insisted he wasn’t retiring.

“This will be the last time ‘round, I think, to do the rock ‘n’ roll stuff because I want to move on to swing music and the Great American Song Book,” he said. “But I’mnot taking my songs to the cemetery and burying them. I might bring them out on the odd occasion, but I basically would like to put them to rest for a little while. No more big tours. I’ve said farewell to Australia and New Zealand and Mexico, so it’s time to say farewell to the U.S. now.”

In an interview withThe Sunin July, he got candid aboutwhat his next few yearswill look like.

“I’m aware my days are numbered, but I’ve got no fear,” he said. “We have all got to pass on at some point, so we are all in the same basket. I am going to be enjoying myself for these last few years as much as I can… I say few — probably another 15. I can do that easy mate, easy.”

Members of the star’s fan club will have access to presale tickets starting on Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. via RodStewart.com. Additional presales will run throughout the week, including for Citi cardmembers, and the general on-sale will begin Nov. 22 at 10 a.m.
