Savannah Chrisley Reminds Fans It's 'Perfectly Okay Not to Be Okay' amid Ongoing Family Hardship

Savannah Chrisleyis sharing some words of encouragement amid her parents' imprisonment.

TheChrisley Knows Bestalum, 27, wrote acandid Instagram post for her fanson Aug. 27, reminding them that “it’s perfectly okay to not be okay” — more than 19 months after her parents,ToddandJulie Chrisley, began their prison sentences followingtax evasion and fraudconvictions.

“Whether you’re grappling with heartbreak or feeling overwhelmed…remember that these moments are temporary,” she added. “Just as every storm eventually runs out of rain, your current challenges will also pass. During tough times, YOU HAVE TO be kind to yourself and seek support from those who care.”

Savannah then encouraged her supporters to “focus on small, manageable steps to navigate your difficulties” and to “keep in mind that growth often comes from overcoming adversity.”

“Embrace the process of healing, knowing that brighter days are ahead! #hopeinthedark #yourdayiscoming,” she concluded the caption.

Amid her 27th birthday celebrations, Savannah — who has since taken custody of hersiblings,Grayson, 18, and Chloe, 11 — shared on her podcastUnlockedin August that her 20s have “been rough.”

“I’ve had a lot of hurt, a lot of trauma, a lot of just downhill, just downhill,“she said at the time. “So I’m going to save the celebrations for 30 and on. I am going to use my 20s as my building years to hopefully get to where I wanna get to.”

“I will say for my birthday, my mom has always been the one to make my birthday so special, to celebrate it, and it’s really hard not having her here,” she said. “Holidays suck in general when you have a loved one that is not here with you, whether that person has passed away or you just don’t have the ability to be together on a day to day basis or really communicate that well.”

“We were just given a really crappy hand of cards,” the reality star added. “So I am going to continue to see this through. I’m going to continue to see that the people that were involved in our case are held responsible.”

Savannah’s mother Julie will be given a new sentence on Sept. 25, and Savannah said that she’s now “been having the same dreams over and over again” of her “mom at home.”

“I look at 27, and there’s so many things I hope to happen,” she said on the podcast. “I hope and pray that mom and dad come home. I hope and pray that I have the ability to make lasting change. I know that I’m working with my lawyers and another group of people to put some initiatives in place that I have come up with.”
