It was awesome!” she said, adding, “I just loved doing it because I haven’t been able to do that, and it was so fun to walk my kids to school.“In August, Kotb opened up to PEOPLE abouther choice to move to the suburbs, sharing that the decision was rooted in creating new things for her kids.“I want my kids to feel grass on their feet, and play in the yard, and ride bikes down the street, and run up and down the stairs,” she said. “I just see that life for them in this perfect house in this beautiful little town where I know they’ll be able to blossom into beautiful, independent, strong women.”
