Bellamy Youngis bringing her formerScandalcostars back together again for a good cause!
Young, a native of Asheville, North Carolina, has called upon her former castmates to come together for alive reunionon Sunday, Nov. 17, to raise funds for United Way of North Carolina in an effort to help the western portion of the state after the devastation from Hurricane Helene.
The ABC political thriller’s creator,Shonda Rhimes, will also be in attendance, opening the reading with her producing partner, Betsy Beers, who will be the narrator.

The cast excitedly shares this announcement, and meets over Zoom to discuss their plans for the reunion, in PEOPLE’s exclusive teaser video above.

The clip begins with Young and Goldwyn chatting about how good it is to see each other and reminiscing on their days onScandal.
“I really missed your face, I miss everybody’s face. it’s been so long since we’ve had the whole Scandal fam together,” Young says. “Remember how we used to look forward to table reads? We’d find out everything that Shonda and the writers had in store for us next. It was so crazy!”
Goldwyn agrees, telling his former costar, “That was the best! Maybe we can get together for an online reading and do it for a worthy cause?”

Lowes and Foley then appear on screen as she agrees the idea “sounds great” and he asks, “Which episode should we do?”
Díaz also pops into the Zoom call, teasing that Young shouldn’t be surprised that they’re there as Lowes jokes, “We have eyes on you!”
Foley then teases that “some special guest stars” will be there, and encourages fans to join them at the table read before the cast closes the call out.

“Like so many of us, I watched in horror at the devastation that Hurricane Helene inflicted on Western North Carolina and my beautiful hometown of Asheville," Young said a statement shared with PEOPLE about their upcoming reunion.
“I’m so grateful that my wholeScandalfamily said yes to being part of this very special event. It is my heart’s hope that we can make a difference for WNC on its road to recovery. And we hope our Gladiators will come out in force to help us do just that,” her statement continued.
