Selena Gomezhas nailed her “losing face,” putting her skills on display at the2024 Emmys.

The joke began when Gomez appeared onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonand explained that she had been rehearsing her reaction to losing. When fans compared it to theFriendsscene where Rachel teaches Joey (Matt LeBlanc) how to act at the upcoming Soapy Awards, Gomez confirmed their speculations.

“Facts. @jenniferaniston taught me too lo'," theWizards of Waverly Placealum wrote over a clip showing the similarities between Rachel’s “gracious loser face” and her own.
