As part of the continuingEmilia Pérezpress tour, the actress, 32, attended the Los Angeles premiere in a sophisticated black Elie Saab gown.
Gomez wore an off-the-shoulder dress with an intricate satin design that wrapped across her bodice. The dress' skirt was made of black taffeta and created the illusion of a sheath silhouette, but it also included a short train.
She accessorized the sleek look with a pair of over-the-elbow black leather gloves, black patent leather pointed-toe pumps and a pair of diamond hoop earrings.

For her glam, the singer-actress maintained a sophisticated look with a slick back bun, deep gray-brown smokey eyeshadow, rosy pink cheeks and matte nude lipstick.

Gomez has been stepping out in look after look since the premiere of the Jacques Audiard-directed film at the Cannes Film Festival, where it earnedtwo awards, including the best actress award for its ensemble of women, anda minutes-long standing ovation. Gomez plays Jessi Del Monte in the musical movie.

According to a synopsis, Emilia Pérez “follows the journey of four remarkable women in Mexico, each pursuing their own happiness” through song and dance.
At the Toronto Film Festival premiere in September, Gomez said shefeels “grateful"for all of the success in her life, including her involvement in the project, which also starsZoe SaldañaandKarla Sofía Gascón.
Emilia Pérezis in theaters on Nov. 1 and will be released on Netflix on Nov. 13.
