Shannon Storms Beadoronce considered finding love onThe Golden Bachelorette.

On the Oct. 31 episode ofThe Viall Filespodcast, theReal Housewives of Orange Countyalum, 60, revealed that she was interested in taking part in the ABC franchise until Bravo mogulAndy Cohenoffered her a place on the upcoming dating series,Love Hotel.

When hostNick Viallasked if she’d ever considered becoming the Golden Bachelorette, she revealed that she had actually reached out to a fewHousewivesproducers who also work onThe Bachelorshows.

“I said, what about me being the Golden Bachelorette?” the reality star recalled. “And then I said, I know you’re gonna use somebody from the past or whatever. You know, we just kinda put it out there.”

Everything changed when Cohen called with an “interesting idea” and pitched her Peacock’s upcoming reality dating series, where singles will vie to win the hearts of four of Bravo’s biggest bachelorettes.

“They asked me to join the show,The Love Hotel. So I kind of am aGolden Bacheloretteon theLove Hotel,” she said, adding how she’d love to meetJoan Vassos, the first ever female senior lead of the ABC show. “I just feel like we have a lot of stuff in common. But, in her show and inLove Hotel, you get story because we’re older. Like, it’s not just like we’re young and dating. "

“It’s like we have story and issues, and we’re all single for a reason. So we all have triggers and all that sort of stuff, so it’s good,” Storms Beador added.

Filming was set to take place in September in Cabo San Lucas with the women being offered a diverse dating pool, insiders said at the time. The show is expected to air sometime next year.

Storms Beador was last linked to John Janssen, who she dated for 3½ years, starting in summer 2019. In late 2022, hecalled off their romanceand again in September 2023, afterbriefly reconciling, not long after her arrest for analleged DUI and hit-and-run.

Janssen then began dating Storms Beador’sRHOCcostar, Alexis Bellino, with whom she has a rocky history. In 2018, her ex-husband, Jim Bellino,sued Storms BeadorandTamra Judgefor defamation.

Throughout season 18, the two had tension after Janssen sued Storms Beador for $75,000 that he alleged was a loan, though she denied the money was borrowed.
