Simone Biles Is ‘So Happy’ to Be Home in Texas: All About the Mansion She’s Building There with Her Husband

There’s no place like home forSimone Biles!

The 27-year-old superstar gymnast revealedshe was finally homeon Monday, Aug. 12 after her incredible run in the2024 Paris Olympics, in which she took home three gold medals and one silver.

Back in Texas, she can return to another passion project: the construction of thewaterfront mansionshe’s been building with her NFL star husbandJonathan Owens. The pairtied the knot in April 2023and starteddocumenting the progress of their new-build abodeon social media in September 2023.

Biles has since offered many sneak peeks of the design details and stunning views at their dream home — as well as some construction drama along the way — with her followers on Instagram.

So far, the decorated athlete has shown off thegeometric designsthat adorn some of the walls and floors inside her home, as well as the white cabinetry andstunning marble countertopsin her kitchen.

The home also boasts a wooden staircase with black detailing on the railings, while another room has black and white tiling sheathing the walls.

In another social media update, Biles unveiled herhuge closetthat she’s “obsessed” with, as well as thelaundry roomthat’s been coming together.

Biles has also been transparent about the highs and lows on her homebuilding journey,including when she hit a slight setbackin November 2023.

“Yesterday I was here from 11am-5pm…..🥴. I thought it was going to be a 30-minute thing bc I had no clue what I was walking into,” she shared in a video uploaded to her Instagram Stories at the time.

While she did not specify what exactly caused the delay, she did say she “made progress” after asking her dad for help.

“Called my dad for backup yesterday bc I panicked! but I’ve made so much progress & I’m so proud of myself. Jonathan will deal with the end result oops……..I hope I did it decently & thought of all the things,” she added in another update.

While she has yet to share an update on the property since returning from the Olympics, she did express that she was happy to finally be back home in a series ofInstagram Storiesposted on Monday, Aug. 12.

In the first snap, she offers a glimpse of her view from the plane. “USA 🥹😍🤍,” she wrote in white text over the shot.

She then shared a glimpse of the stunning sunset that she came home to from her backyard. Her pool and some lounge chairs were included in the photo that she captioned, “home 🥹.”
