Simone Bilesknows it’s the thought that counts — even if the numbers don’t add up!
After a night out during Labor Day weekend, Biles, 27, posted an Instagram Stories video of a sign that didn’t have the correct number of Olympic gold medals she has won. “11X GOLD MEDALIST,” read the lit-up sign, which club employees held up among sparklers and bottles.
The seven-time gold medalist still appreciated the thoughtful gesture as it celebrated her incredible gymnastics career.
She posted the video of the moment on Saturday, Aug. 31, writing her correct medal count: “*7x gold medalist … *11x olympic medalist. they were close, still super sweet." Biles clarified, adding a white heart emoji.
