Slash's Girlfriend Meegan Hodges Shares Tribute to Late Daughter Lucy-Bleu Knight amid Suicide Prevention Month

The lateLucy-Bleu Knight’s mom,Slash’s girlfriend Meegan Hodges, is paying tribute to her daughter during National Suicide Prevention Month.

Hodges, 55, shared photos of Lucy-Bleu a series throughout her life to the social media platform alongside information for theSuicide & Crisis Lifelineand a caption featuring the hashtags, “#suicideawarness#bekind#988#restinpeacemybeautifuldaughter.”

The post arrived after Hodgesshared a photo to Instagramon Aug. 24 of what appears to be a card distributed at Knight’s memorial service. “The outpouring of love and support we have received from you has been a source of strength in our time of grief,” read the note.

“Your thoughtful words have reminded us of the impact Lucy-Bleu made and brought some comfort in our loss,” the card continued. “We extend our most sincere thanks to you for your kindness and sympathy.”

Per theCenter for Disease Control, “inhalation of high concentrations” of the “highly toxic, colorless gas” can cause “rapid unconsciousness and death.”

Slash, 59,revealed via Instagramon July 21 that Knight died “peacefully” two days earlier and called her an “incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer and a charming, lovable, sweet soul.”

On the social media platform, theGuns N’ Rosesguitarist asked “for privacy” and that “social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.”

Per Slash’s Instagram post, Knight, born Dec. 6, 1998, was the “beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson.”

The iconic guitar player, whose birth name is Saul Hudson, initially began dating Knight’s mother, Meegan Hodges, in 1989. However, the pair split until they rekindled their romance more than two decades later in 2015.
