April 18, 2021: Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge go to St. Barts

The couple were spotted enjoying the beach onvacation in St. Barts, and Richie documented their trip on social media.

Alongside a photo of her and Grainge in a blue convertible, she wrote, “Dreamy 😍.” In another post, Richie shared a photo of them kissing and wrote, “Post vaccine life.”

The pair attended one of the music legend’s concerts in Las Vegas. Ritchie shared photos and videos of her dad performing while she and Grainge hugged and sang along. The duo also posed with friends and family who attended the event with them.

After one year of dating, Richieannounced her engagementto Grainge on Instagram, writing, “Forever isn’t long enough @elliot.” She also posted a shot of the music executive’s candlelit proposal overlooking the ocean and a close-up of the couple sharing a kiss. In the second photo, Richie showed off her diamond engagement ring.

In a since-deleted Instagram announcement, Grainge wrote, “She said yes ❤️❤️❤️.”

April 22, 2022: A source tells PEOPLE that Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge are “a great match”

A source close to Richie and Grainge shared with PEOPLE that the couple were “a great match.”

“Elliot is adorable and really funny. He always has everyone laughing,” the source said. “They initially bonded over their love of music and growing up in the industry.”

They added: “They make each other really happy. He’s very mature and hard-working. He has his own house, and she moved in with him a while ago. All of her friends are thrilled that she found true love.”

After their engagement announcement, Richie’s father toldAccess Hollywoodthat Grainge was a “nervous wreck” asking for permission to marry his daughter.

“I thought he was going to pass out, but he survived it,” Lionel joked. “I was going to rib him a little bit, but I didn’t want to play, he was going to faint. It was wonderful … They’re deeply in love, so all I can say is, that’s what you really want as a dad.”

October 12, 2022: Sofia Richie celebrates her bachelorette party in Paris

Richie headed to Paris with her friends and sisterNicole Richieto celebrate her upcoming nuptials in October 2022.

The model posted a snapshot of herParisian bachelorette festivitieson Instagram. “Ready for the best week with my people 🤍👰‍♀️,” she captioned a photo of her wearing pajamas in a balloon-filled room.

At the end of 2022, Richie reminisced about Grainge’s romantic proposal and their engagement on Instagram. She posted a series ofnever-before-seen photosfrom the special day, including a post-engagement kiss, a candlelit walkway, a close-up of her diamond ring and a selfie of the couple. “2022, thanks for the most special moment of my life 😉@elliot,” she wrote.

February 2023: Sofia Richie celebrates her bridal shower

Richie’s godmother, Shelleylyn Brandler, threw her goddaughter a pastel bridal shower complete with a pink cake that read “Sofia & Elliot.” Brandler, who has a catering company called TaDa Catering, left a sweet message for Richie on her company’s Instagram.

“Sweet Dreams we’re made of this….Special Bridal Shower for a Special G-d Daughter,” she wrote alongside a video from the shower.

Richie later shared a series ofphotos from the bridal shower. In the first slide, she and Grainge embrace as she gives him a kiss on the chin. The other pictures feature the couple’s cake, Richie with her gifts and the bride-to-be posing with several family members, including sister Nicole Richie.

April 3, 2023: Sofia Richie converts to Judaism ahead of wedding to Elliot Grainge

Richie revealed on her Instagram Story that she has converted to Grainge’s religion of Judaism ahead of their pending nuptials.

“What a magical day. I want to thank cantor Nathan Lam for helping me along this journey of converting to Judaism,” she wrote in the post shared on April 3, 2023. “It has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Today was that day!!! ✡️✡️✡️✡️✡️.”

April 17, 2023: Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge prepare for their wedding weekend

In late April, Richie and Graingeheaded to the South of Francein preparation for their wedding. The model posted a photo taken from a plane with the caption, “Here we go,” alongside the bride and groom emojis, as they descended into the region.

The night before her wedding weekend kicked off,Richie uploaded a TikTok videoshowing off her evening makeup routine. The bride-to-be shared the clip using a new handle, which featured her fiancé’s last name: @sofiarichiegrainge.

Then, during a “get ready with me” video on TikTok, Richie told her fans that she’s “very excited to just belocked in [a] villa with Elliot doing nothing” for five days straight.

Richie and Graingeattended the Chanel Cruise 2023/24 fashion showin Los Angeles. The model looked chic in lace-trimmed shorts and a white tweed blazer adorned with pink feathers, while her husband donned a suit and sneakers.

June 3, 2023: Sofia Richie asks Elliot Grainge to narrate a silly TikTok video

Richie posted a TikTok videoin which she says that she will put together “the most mismatched outfit I can possibly throw together from my closet” and have Grainge narrate the look. She explains that her husband “tells me every single day that I look great” before saying he “has to crack one of these days.”

“Okay, this one’s an interesting one,” Grainge says of a two-piece rainbow ensemble Richie uses as the base for her outfit. “It’s a very colorful … something … set.”

As Rickie adds other articles of clothing, the music executive continues to compliment her: “Very nice belt here … beautiful necklace … nice with the hair.”

July 25, 2023: Sofia Richie says she’s “obsessed” with Elliot Grainge

During an interview withVogue, Richie described her life with Grainge post-wedding as “calm and quiet.”

She added: “Being married is the best.I’m obsessed with Elliot.”

August 2, 2023: Sofia Richie says she knew Elliot Grainge would be her husband

Richie spoke withWho What Wearabout the moment she realized she wanted to be more than friends with Grainge.

“I would always tell him, ‘Whoever you end up with is the luckiest girl,'” she told the outlet. “I thought that person is going to be really loved, appreciated, and worshiped. And then I realized one day … Why can’t that lucky girl be me?”

The model went on to describe the “different feeling” Grainge gave her once they became romantic.

“It was a feeling of safety,” she said. “It was the feeling of really being appreciated. I knew when we started dating that he was my husband. It wasn’t a ‘Do you think one day he’ll propose?’ It was like, ‘This is my husband — 100 percent.’ I felt this love for him that I never felt ever in my life.”

Richie revealed in an interview withVoguethat she and her husband were expecting their first child, a girl, in 2024 — though she added the due date wasn’t certain as she was “growing pretty fast.”

To find out the sex, the couple kept it lowkey, asking Richie’s assistant to help them with the surprise.

She continued, “She left out the one with the correct color inside, and Elliot and I popped it together. We both really thought it was a boy, so it was a true shock. My dream in life is to have a daughter [though], and Elliot is really excited for a girl too.”

She added that while it is “typical” for men to want a little boy, Grainge was over the moon for a girl since he “has a lot of sisters.” Richie added, “It was really sweet. He’s very sensitive.”
