Taylor Swift Appears to Make Sweet Nod to Travis Kelce as He Celebrates Scoring First Touchdown of NFL Season

Taylor Swiftis seemingly showcasing her love forTravis Kelceyet again!

On Sunday, Oct. 27, the “Fortnight” hitmaker, 34, appeared to pay tribute to her romance with theKansas City Chiefstight end, 35, in New Orleans as she referenced his famous first down hand gesture while performing her 2022 track"Midnight Rain"in a fan-captured video sharedon X(formerly known as Twitter).

The gestures came on the same night Kelcescored his first touchdown of the seasonagainst the Las Vegas Raiders in a 27-20 win after previously admitting to having a slow start this year. Meanwhile, Swift was 1,700 miles away performing on stage.

The Chiefs have been on a7-0 winning streak this season, and Swift’s three-finger gesture might signal she believes they could win their third consecutive Super Bowl in February 2025. Earlier this year, the teambeat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22, and in 2023, they werevictorious over the Philadelphia Eagleswith a 38-35 score.

This isn’t the first time Swift has seemingly madea nod to Kelce during “Midnight Rain.“On Friday, Oct. 25, she mimed throwing a football as she sang the same lines at the New Orleans venue, per a fan videoon X.

The New Orleans Saints, whose stadium Swift was performing at, posted a special welcome to the pop superstar before her arrival on theirInstagram: a stadium-sizedfriendship bracelet.

Swift’s fans began adorning themselves with handmade friendship bracelets to swap with fellow fans following the release of Swift’sMidnightssong “You’re On Your Own, Kid,” which includes the lyrics, “Make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.”

Swift will now perform at the three remaining cities left on her Eras Tour: Indianapolis Nov. 1-3, Toronto Nov. 14-23 and Vancouver Dec. 6-8.
