Taylor Swifthas broken another record!

Swift is nominated in the category for the fourth year in a row forThe Tortured Poets Department,and this nomination breaks her tie with Barbra Streisand for six album of the year nominations.

Also up for album of the year in 2025 areAndré 3000’sNew Blue Sun,Beyoncé’sCowboy Carter,Sabrina Carpenter’sShort n' Sweet,Charli xcx’sBrat,Jacob Collier’sDjesse Vol. 4,Billie Eilish’sHit Me Hard and SoftandChappell Roan’sThe Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.

The “Fortnight” singer’s six nominations this year bring her career total to 58, along with 14 wins so far. She’s won album of the year four times, withFearlessin 2010,1989in 2016,Folklorein 2021 andMidnightsin 2024.

Additionally, Swift has been nominated for album of the year withRedin 2014 andEvermorein 2022, though neither project took home the trophy.

Among her other nominations this year are for best music video, record of the year and song of the year for “Fortnight” featuringPost Malone, as well as best pop duo/group performance for “us” alongside Gracie Abrams and best pop vocal album forThe Tortured Poets Department.

Swiftmade headlines at the awards ceremony in Februarywhen she announced the release ofTTPDduring her acceptance speech for best pop vocal album after she won forMidnights.As she accepted the award, her 13th Grammy — her “lucky number” — she announced the release date of the record.
