On Monday, Aug. 12, Swift, 34, was spotted atAnnabel’sin London for the get-together, marking her first public appearance since her shows were canceled in Vienna, Austria due to an alleged planned terrorist attack.

On Aug. 7, the concert promoter, Barracuda Music,announced the cancellationin a statement and wrote they had “no choice but to cancel” the three performances at Ernst Happel Stadium in order to prioritize the safety of all attendees.

“The suspects had very specific and detailed plans to cause a tragedy on the scale of Paris, Manchester or Moscow," Karl Nehammer, the chancellor of Austria, said at a news conference on Aug. 8,The New York Timesreported.

According to authorities, who confirmed the planned attack, the suspectsintended to use explosives and knivesto cause mass casualties.

Since then, three suspects have been arrested. The primary suspect is a 19-year-old Austrian who admitted to planning the attack, intending to kill himself and many others at the concert, according to NBC.

Swift has not spoken out about the situation. However, in 2019, she opened up toELLEabouther fear of violence and terrorist attacksat concerts.

“I was completely terrified to go on tour this time because I didn’t know how we were going to keep 3 million fans safe over seven months," she said at the time.

Up next, the “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” singer will perform at London’s Wembley Stadium for five nights starting on Aug. 15. The Metropolitan Police Service hasassured fans they are taking precautions.
