These features offer more versatility in your kitchen but keep in mind that they’ll increase the price of the appliance. Plus, the more features a refrigerator has, the more complicated it will be to repair if something breaks.

When it comes to refrigerator warranties, they’re usually broken down into several different periods. Most brands offer a one-year warranty on parts and labor, as well as a five (or longer) year warranty on the sealed refrigeration system, which includes the compressor.
