Anthony Bourdain’s life will play out in an upcoming biopic.
TheHollywood Reporterbroke the news that A24 is working on the project calledTony. Dominic Sessa, the breakout star ofThe Holdovers,will play Bourdain in the biopic, according toTHR.
A documentary,Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain,was released in 2021 butTonywill be the first biopic.

Fans will also get a view into Bourdain’s other interest, true crime. His book,TYPHOID MARY: An Urban Historicalwill be back in print also in October.

Bourdain’s closest friends continue to honor his memory six years after his death. Weeks after he died,Eric RipertandJosé Andrésdeclared his birthday#BourdainDay, encouraging fans to take “a moment to post & share your tributes & memories,” Ripert said at the time.
“WE ❤️ you Tony …#bourdainday,” Ripert wrote in the caption.

Andrés followed suit, reposting Ripert’s photo on his Instagram Stories and uploadinga post of his own.
“Felt good,” he wrote about the event in the caption. “#love is all that matters and the older I get the more I believe it to be ALL that matters.”
