The new drop includes three colors: black with either silver or gold shimmer and gray with silver shimmer. If the idea of gritty glitter being on your clothes gives you the ick, you’ll be happy to know there’s none of that here.

According to Spanx, the shimmer effect is woven in, meaning you won’t end up with glitter or sequins on the clothes you hang next to them, and gives the pieces “a refined glow.” I can confirm the shimmer effect is built into the signature AirEssentials fabric and doesn’t change its silky smooth texture to the touch. My wife has one of the new pullovers and the glittery effect gives the top a noticeable aura that somehow manages to sparkle even in low lighting.

The stretchy AirEssentials fabric — whichOprah Winfreyoncememorably describedas feeling “like buttah” — can be washed inside out on the gentle cycle in cold water and put in the dryer on low. If the shimmer is a bit too loud for your taste, Spanx has the same items available in a couple other colors that still give a cozy holiday vibe:wine-red figandwintry white powder.

Each of the slightly oversized AirEssentials Half-Zips comes in sizes XS–3X. The Wide-Leg Pants andSlim Flare Pantare offered in the same range of sizes with regular, petite, or tall inseam lengths.
