Tia Mowry’sdaughter could be joining her mom in the film industry sometime soon.

“She has the personality. Because that’s kind of like the first thing you look at, I guess,” Tia says in the clip.

“I don’t think that I would even allow her [to act] if I didn’t see that she was capable,” the proud mom continues.

“Which is important, because a lot of parents see the dollars and the cents of it all," says Tia’s cousin Jerome Wiggins.

“That’s it! Especially I feel like when the child’s manager is a caretaker. And that is something I do not want to do," the actress responds. “My mother was our manager. And I was like, I want to have a relationship with my mother.”

In a confessional, the actress shares what it was like to have her mom as her manager, noting that things have shifted since she was little.

“My mother was this protective lioness, which is very needed in this industry as a child actor,” Tia says. “So now that I have become an adult, it becomes a little bit of a challenge.”

Back in the scene, Tia says that if her daughter does pursue a career in acting, she doesn’t want to be involved.

“So if she moves forward with this, I wouldn’t want to be her manager. But I guess the good thing is that I’ve lived through it and I can coach her through it. And protect her, you know?” Tia explains.

The actress shares her daughter Cairo and son Cree, 13, with ex-husband Cory Hardrict.
