Travis Kelce’s game show host era is almost here.

The Kansas City Chief’s tight end is the host of Prime Video’sAre You Smarter Than a Celebrity?and on August 8, the streamer announced that the all-new game show will premiere with the first three episodes on October 16.

Per the official synopsis, each episode will feature an “an adult contestant who will rely on a classroom full of celebrities from comedy, screen, and sports to help them answer 11 questions on a range of subjects, pulled from elementary curriculum” – introducing a new twist from the originalAre You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?which premiered in 2007.

The group of celebrities that contestants will rely on includes a wide-range of stars, from comediansNikki Glaserand Natasha Leggero toVanderpump Rules’Lala Kent, podcasterSophia Stalloneand actress and producer Lilly Singh.

Thursday Night Football analystRyan Fitzpatrick, former NFL wide receiverChad Ochocinco,Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’Garcelle Beauvaisand comediansNicole ByerandRon Funcheswill also star among the celebrity panel.

The stars will offer contestants help, and they can even “cheat” off of them if necessary to survive another round, per the description, and vie for the $100,000 prize. For the final question — which will be “at the 6th-grade level” – contestants will have the opportunity to discuss their answer with one celebrity before locking it in.

Kelce, 34, was confirmed as the host of the new game show in April, and said in a statement, “I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up.”

Previous hosts ofAre You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?includeJeff FoxworthyandJohn Cena. Foxworthy held the role on Fox from 2007 through 2011, and again when it was brought back for one season in 2015.

Cena stepped in as host in 2019 for the show’s revival on Nickelodeon.
