Viola Davisis marking a big milestone!
The actress turned 59 on Sunday, Aug. 11, and shared aglimpse of her celebrationsthat included a birthday dinner β with the guest of honor flashing a big smile as she sat in front of a cake decorated with pink, white and yellow frosting, plus several tall candles.
More photos featuredthe EGOT winnersmiling inside a car and posing in a kitchen, while video footage showed loved ones wishing her a happy birthday and singing to her during the special dinner as she was presented with her cake.
Davis began her Instagram caption with a quote from late French novelist Γmile Zola: " ‘If you ask me what I came into this life to do, I will tell you: I came to live out loud.’ "
