Wendell Pierceis ready for his return to theSuitsuniverse.
The New Orleans-born actor, 60, recently appeared on SiriusXM’sThe Spotlight with Jessica Shaw, where he discussed the possibility of him appearing in theSuitsspinoff,Suits LA.
During the Friday, Oct. 25 episode, Pierce called the show’s resurgence “fascinating” after it became available for streaming, allowing a new wave of fans to discover the series.
“I think it’s the most fascinating thing that all of a sudden, our show got on Netflix and it blew up,” he told Shaw. “We got a text, a chain text, fromGabriel Macht(Harvey Specter) who’s the lead, and he just sent this text to everyone saying, ‘WTF.’ ”
The legal drama debuted on USA in 2011 and wrapped up in 2019. However, in 2023, the series was added to Netflix’s catalog andset streaming records.

“I mean, there’s a newSuitsbeing produced right now, so I’m sure that we will be making cameos on it,” theElsbethactor said. “I better be asked to make a cameo on the show ‘causewe went on strikebecause we’re not getting anything from that resurgence.”
Switching gears, he added, “But I would love to make a cameo on the show.”
Pierce, who played the father ofMeghan Markle’s character Rachel Zane onSuits, remains close to his former costars — even outside of their group text.

“When [Meghan] came into town, she got an award last year, had a chance to say hello and wish she andPrince Harrywell and wish the children well,”Pierce exclusively told PEOPLEat the time.
“They look very much in love and were very happy, so that’s the most important thing,” he added of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
And though it’s been several years since the originalSuitsended, Pierce and Meghan have managed to still see each other on a few occasions.

“I’ve gotten to see her just a few times since, and we’ve been able to reminisce and so it’s real, we have fond memories of working together,” he shared.
Suits LAwill seeStephen Amellas series lead Ted Black, a “former federal prosecutor from New York" who “has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles,” according to an official description.
None of the show’s original actors have been confirmed to make cameos, although, in addition to Pierce,Patrick J. Adams(Michael Ross) has also expressedinterest in returning.
All nine seasonsofSuitsare streaming on Netflix.
