While the wrestler is known for his WWE character relationship withRhea Ripley, Mysterio has long been in love with his wife, Marie Juliette.

Born Dominik Óscar Gutiérrez, he is the son of Rey Mysterio, who is known as one of the best wrestlers of all-time. As a kid, Dominik made his first public appearance as an audience member at the Cruiserweight Championship in 2003 to watch his dad. Dominik made his wrestling debut when he faced Seth Rollins in a street fight at SummerSlam in 2020 at age 23.

Thanks to fate — and a high school Spanish class — Marie Juliette entered Dominik’s life when he was just 14 years old. While he may lead a high-profile life because of his career in professional wrestling, she tries her best to keep a low profile.

So who is Dominik Mysterio’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Marie Juliette and her relationship with the WWE star.

She leads a private life

Marie Juliette was born on July 3, 1997, but not much else is known about her.

While Dominik often shares sweet posts about Marie Juliette on his Instagram, most of his content is tied to his WWE storyline. Marie Juliette, meanwhile,has a private pageconsisting of only 64 posts. With more than 120,000 followers, it seems her page may have been public at some point.

Marie Juliette’s page doesn’t give much away about her. Her bio simply reads, “Jeremiah 29:11,” which is a popular bible verse that reads: “ ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.’ ”

She and Dominik met in high school

Thanks toan anniversary postfrom Dominik on Instagram in November 2020, fans found out how the two met.

“9 years later and I am more madly in love with you than ever,” he wrote before telling their story. “I still remember the first day I laid eyes on you in a Spanish class I should’ve never been in!!”

Dominik added: “Thank you for all the unconditional love and support throughout our journey together. You are the most kindhearted and hardworking person I know.”

While it’s unclear what high school the pair attended, it’s likely that it was in San Diego, where Dominik was raised.

In another post the year before,Dominik thanked Marie Juliettefor “helping mold me into the man I am becoming.”

She and Dominik married in March 2024

The wrestlerannounced their engagementin January 2023, captioning a photo of Marie Juliette’s sparkling diamond ring with the date he popped the question. It appears from the picture that the duo were somewhere on a beach at the time of the proposal.

In March 2024, Dominik and Marie Juliette wed in a beautiful outdoor ceremony as documented onhis Instagram. The blushing bridewore a stunning long-sleeve gownwith lace details.

In attendance at the wedding were Dominik’s WWE costars including Ripley and Damian Priest, who served as a groomsman.

Ripley shared a photo from the wedding, writing, “What an amazing love filled day! ❤️🥹Congratulations @dominik_35 and @_marie_juliette!!”

During the couple’s reception,Dominik was booedwhile giving a speech, something he’s used to when he’s in the ring. According to a video posted on TikTok, Marie Juliette and Dominik chose Lewis Capaldi’s “Pointless” astheir first dance song.

She is supportive of Dominik’s career

Dominik’s WWE storyline is largely based on Rhea and Liv Morgan fighting over him — and showing a lot of PDA. Duringan August 2024 podcast interview, the wrestler opened up about how Marie Juliette handles that type of televised affection.

“The woman is a saint, man,” he told Logan Paul. “She’s honestly the best. We’ve been together since we were 14 … she’s been with my through thick and thin.”

Marie Juliette has also attended some of Dominik’s matches over the years, including 2022’s Wrestlemania, where she first met her now-husband’s “work wife.”

She’s a college graduate

During Dominik’s August 2024 interview with Logan Paul, the reality star shared that he and his wife have “played it smart” when it comes to big milestone moments, noting that she made sure to finish school before they got married.

While he didn’t elaborate on what she studied, Dominik added that their engagement didn’t happen until the couple made sure he was financially stable with his wrestling career.

When asked about their desire to add kids to their family, Dominik shared that he and Marie Juliette  “want to be married for at least a year” before they start talking about that.

She’s Portuguese

Dominik spoke more than ever about Marie Juliette during his interview with Logan Paul. When Paul’s co-host Mike Majlak told Dominik that he thinks most women would be jealous of their significant other being intimate with another person even as work, the wrestler exclaimed, “and she’s a Portuguese girl.”
