The Queen of Pop is sparking romance rumors with Akeem Morris, a Jamaican-born soccer player who was featured in herPaper Magazinecover shoot published in August 2022. Madonna was previously linked toJosh Popper, with whom she shared a kiss on stage in December 2023.

Madonna and Morris weren’t seen together again until July 2024, when the singershared photosof them cuddling up in New York City on the Fourth of July. The following month, Madonna posted another carousel to herInstagram, including a suggestive photo in bed with Morris, captioning the post, “Hot Fun in The Summer Time………🔥.”

Speaking to PEOPLE in September 2024, Rice said that after Morris' “very humble beginnings” in Jamaica, she’s happy to see him having fun.

“Obviously, now he’s going to Portofino, Italy, living in an estate, doing all these things dressed head-to-toe in designer, which is great for him,” she said. “Incredible. So cool for him.”

Most recently, Madonna was seen arriving in Italy with Morris as she gears up for a birthday celebration in Portofino at a private Dolce & Gabbana estate, according to theItalian press.

Akeem Morris was born in Jamaica on May 2, 1996. Currently, he lives in New York City.

According to hisLinkedIn, Morris attended Stony Brook University between 2014 and 2018, earning his bachelor’s degree in political science and government.

Morris shares hiscity happeningson hisInstagram, posting photos around Manhattan and Brooklyn. He appears to be into fashion, as he also posts pictures showing offhis style in photoshootsandnights spent out on the town.

Morris is a former soccer player, who played in college at Stony Brook from 2014 to 2017. PerESPN, he was briefly on Oyster Bay United FC as a forward.
